As a Water Resources Superintendent you will be tasked with overseeing the construction project from start to finish, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety, and inventory checks throughout the duration of the project. You should have a strong understanding of construction operations and processes. It is important to be able to delegate duties to teams effectively and resolve any issues that may arise on site. 

 

Requirements 

  • Associate’s degree in construction management or similar equivalent experience

  • Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications:  MS Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 4-hour periods of time.
  • Must have Water/Waste Water experience.

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of field employees, subcontractors and material vendors to expedite the project schedule.
  • Maintain daily progress reporting and paperwork such as daily reports including pictures of work progress, payroll and equipment time reporting for crew, field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of important issues.
  • Must possess the ability to read and understand project documents, e.g., drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, subcontracts, and the owner agreement terms and conditions specific to your role.
