As a Technicial Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries by telephone, email, or walk-in to resolve customer issues, after advising customers of their options and solutions. Resolution measures will include following through with issues until resolved if capable and/or looping in additional departments or teams as necessary. Candidate must have technical field experience or have previously worked in a manufacturing/service environment.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.  

  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services.  

  • Opens customer accounts by recording account information.  

  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.  

  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.  

  • Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred.  

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.  

  • Technical field experience or working experience in a manufacturing/service environment is required.    

  • Interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.  

  • Effective communication skills verbal and written.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
