As the Plastic Injection Lead you are responsible for organizing and performing a full range of duties of a complex nature that requires a clear understating of departmental organization, functions, policies, and procedures to meet customer requirements including deadlines and quality standards. Must have 5 or more years’ experience of Plastic Injection Molding and Auxiliary Equipment (Loaders, Dryers, Robots, and Grinders) as well Plastic Resins and Colorants.  


Requirements  
  • Must be able to record and understand numerical data (counts) as it applies to Production reporting.  
  • Must be able to understand and follow instructions and express ideas or concerns with management.  
  • Computer skills required – working knowledge of Excel and Word Software preferred.  
  • Excellent leadership skills, independent thinker, strong organizational and planning skills.  
  • May be required to work overtime. May be required to work weekends.
  • 5+years Mechanically Inclined on Plastic Injection Molding & Auxiliary Equipment (Loaders, Dryers, Robots, and Grinders).  

What You’ll Do  
  • Serve as a resource to press operators, providing them with guidance and being available to answer questions.
  • Assist Shift Supervisor with the safety of employees and operation of all equipment to prevent injury to personnel and/or damage to equipment and property.
  • Assist Shift Supervisor to meet required production schedule. Maintain AMM Policies and Procedures.
  • Startup/Shut down and Purge machines.
  • Operating /Maintaining (Dryers, Robots, Loaders, and Grinders).
  • Understand Plex and Mach 2 programs.
