We are searching for a skilled Maintenace Technicians for a direct hire position at a global manufacturer and supplier of highly engineered products, dedicated to shaping, growing and bettering the RV, marine, automotive, commercial, and building products industries. In this role involves a wide range of tasks, including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out these duties in line with safety standards and predictive and productive maintenance systems to help achieve the site's business goals and objectives. Schedule is Monday – Friday, weekends and overnight work is also necessary.  

Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent education and production maintenance experience.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills, including some PLC and HVAC experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written or oral form.
  • Preferred: AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
  • Preferred: Vacuum furnace experience.

What you’ll Do
  • Perform mechanic skills: This includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of facility and powered equipment. You'll need to be proficient in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all systems are functioning correctly.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust: This involves identifying the root cause of equipment malfunctions, replacing or repairing faulty components, testing the equipment to ensure it operates correctly, and making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and plant facilities: This includes scheduling and conducting routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure the longevity and efficiency of machinery and facilities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties: You'll need to be skilled in using various tools and equipment, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, electric meters, and forklifts, to perform maintenance and repair tasks safely and effectively.
  • Ability to operate large equipment for snow removal and material handling: This includes operating heavy machinery like front-end loaders, plow trucks, fork trucks, and skid loaders for tasks such as snow removal and moving materials around the facility.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas: This involves adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, as well as keeping the work environment clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
