As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and tools, and the preparation, usage, and maintenance of wood working tooling. This job requires a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
SCHEDULE:
- 4-10 Hour shifts
- Monday-Thursday
- 3pm-1:30am
- Overtime available
KEY RESPONISBILITIES:
- Performs regular, preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment, tools, forklifts, and building.
- Prepares and maintains tooling for all machines.
- Performs set ups, tune ups, and runs equipment and machinery around the plant.
- Order supplies and parts as needed and maintain records of purchase, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Performs duties consistent with established safety rules and procedures including hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures and practices.
- Participate in safety, programs, and meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-years minimum of formal on-the-job training in machine and tooling repair.
- Mathematical skills, and able to use a computer and a calculator.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, operating manuals, precision measuring instruments or tools including hand tools.
- Able to understand verbal and written instructions in English, and able to read and write English.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory.
