We are searching for a skilled Maintenace Manager for a direct hire position at a global manufacturer and supplier of highly engineered products, dedicated to shaping, growing and bettering the RV, marine, automotive, commercial, and building products industries. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring maintenance is being carried out on all machinery throughout the facility. You will oversee a team of technicians and provide direction and motivation to team members focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost and morale. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours, weekends and overnight work is also necessary. Travel is primarily local, although some out-of-the-area travel may be expected.  

Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent education and production maintenance experience. An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred. Vacuum furnace experience.  
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills, including some PLC and HVAC experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written or oral form.
  • AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance (preferred).
  • Vacuum furnace experience (preferred).

What You’ll Do
  • Ensure Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee maintenance and emergency repairs of all machinery and equipment in the facility.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction and motivation to team members, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and morale.
  • Mechanical Skills: Perform mechanical skills including troubleshooting and repair of production machines and reading equipment manuals to perform required maintenance.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Team Development: Develop team members through performance evaluations, training plans, feedback, and coaching.
  • Budget and KPI Management: Assist in developing, planning, and maintaining the budget, and track key performance indicators to address negative trends.
