- Proficiency in reading part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides. Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation.
- Experience with FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, and Okuma controls.
- Familiarity with Okuma, Fuji, Haas, Mori Seiki, and Mazak CNC machinery.
- Demonstrated expertise in industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment and systems up to 480 Volts AC.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy weights for extended periods.
- Proactively identify and address mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts with rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing maintenance data and trends.
