In this role, you will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring minimal equipment downtime to prevent service disruptions. Responsibilities include managing emergency repairs, developing a skilled maintenance team, implementing a robust maintenance program, and maintaining critical spare parts inventory. Key systems include building maintenance, material handling equipment, controls systems, employee scanning equipment, conveyor systems, racking structures, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and grounds upkeep.

  • 10:00am-10:00pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Team Leadership & Work Management – Directly oversee maintenance staff, assign work, and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

  • Technical Expertise & Quality Control – Provide expertise in sortation, electrical, and mechanical systems while conducting quality audits of maintenance work.

  • Facility & Equipment Maintenance – Manage repairs, work orders, and contractor projects, ensuring compliance with quality, scheduling, and budget standards.

  • Safety & Compliance – Ensure adherence to all safety policies and regulations while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

  • Continuous Improvement & Root Cause Analysis – Identify and propose system improvements, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency.

  • Inventory & Waste Management – Oversee parts inventory and ensure proper waste disposal in accordance with regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • A bachelor's degree preferred but not required.  

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams with diverse goals and responsibilities.  

  • Knowledge of distribution and E-Commerce operations in a retail environment.  

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including troubleshooting, prioritizing and multi-tasking.  

  • The ability to quickly learn business processes outside one’s area of expertise.  
  • Excellent computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office, WMS Application.
