As a Construction Design Manager, it will be your responsibility to oversee the design and planning phases of construction projects, therefore we are searching for talent with a solid background in architecture and construction management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years' experience in ground up design.
- Experience working in residential construction sector or modular construction.
- Experience using any of the following software Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, UI Design, AutoCAD, and Agile.
- Experience working closely with customers/clients on initial design and communicating timelines/costs effectively.
What You’ll Do
- Working collaboratively with leadership, engineers, architects, and production on initial designs through final walkthroughs.
- Ensure that designs meet company quality standards and project specifications.
- Work with project managers ensuring projects stay within budget and meet timelines.
- Communicate directly with clients from initial design and ensuring expectations are met.
- Stay up to date with building codes and best practices.
- Resolve all design related issues and implement necessary improvements to the design process to meet all requirements. Maintain all design documentation for each project.
