Sales Engineer – Charlotte, NC
We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer who will be part of the team responsible for local and national accounts. The ideal candidate will be based near Charlotte, NC.  This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing partners and identifying new businesses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Grow sales revenue and product mix across a group of defined accounts.
  • Identify new accounts across region
  • Someone willing to build an area and territory from the ground up. 
  • Hold sales presentations at customer sites, distributor locations, and trade shows
  • Develop sales strategy for accounts based on in-depth account evaluation.
  • Work in a team selling environment to leverage expertise across the sales team.
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings to solve applications or present our solutions.
  • Function as an integral part of the existing sales team
Willingness to travel
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Recent college graduate with minimum 1-3 years’ experience in related industry.
  • Based in Charlotte area. 
  • Technical/Engineering degree preferred, or worked in the industry with related work experience. 
  • Background with safety scanners, safety products, controllers, PLCs, relays, etc. 
  • Background selling into integrators, OEMs, Manufacturing, end users. 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Self-motivated with a high level of autonomy
  • Ability to accumulate and demonstrate technical knowledge
  • Willingness to learn products and procedures
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and team oriented
