As the Business Systems Analyst, you will work under the Business Systems Manager to support all aspects of the company’s business systems. Work with user groups, functional managers, development teams, and project IT teams to identify process enhancements and systems design opportunities and improve the efficiency of the systems. Solves organizational process problems by analyzing requirements and recommending system changes and procedures. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.

NOTE: This is not a remote position, must be local to Northwest Indiana. Must have work authorization to work in the US, sponsorship not eligible for this role currently or in the future.  

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Engineering or a related field and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of SAP operation and maintenance experience across the following – Batch Management, Demand Planning, MRP, Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PP-DS), Production Execution (PP-PI), Project Systems, Purchasing, Materials Management, Inventory Management (EWM).
  • Experience in computer system validation, authoring CSV deliverables, execution of testing, resolving of defects.
  • 3+ years manufacturing industry experience is required.
  • Power BI skills required
What you’ll do
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones.
  • Work with all the areas of the business including production, supply chain, Sales, PET, Finance, and third-party systems which are interfaced with SAP systems.
  • Provide routine production support through business and system solutions.
  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
  • Consult with department managers to develop system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Create, update, and analyze production and supply chain reports utilizing data withing the SAP reporting warehouse
