- At least one year in a safety (OSHA) manufacturing environment. Bilingual highly preferred.
- First Aid/CPR certification is required.
- Associates or equivalent work experience.
- As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify opportunities to reduce injuries and accidents.
- Maintain all necessary files and documentation related to injuries and accidents.
- Maintain knowledge of all federal, state, and local compliance regulations.
- Provide training and development programs to educate employees on safety procedures.
- Perform all forklift certifications.
- Support the safety manager with the development and implementation of both new as well as existing safety programs.
