As a CNC Machinist, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations, responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge, alongside advanced CNC programming techniques. Your expertise with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and coordinate measuring machines, will ensure high-quality output. We expect you to contribute to our commitment to excellence and efficiency in a collaborative and dynamic environment, leveraging both core and premium skills to meet production goals.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with set-up/operating Haas or Okuma CNC mills/lathes in a manufacturing or shop environment
- Versed with blueprint reading and CMM outputs.
- Ability to understand G-Code.
- Experience with machine set-up and program offsets.
- Must wear Steel Toe Shoes
Responsibilities
- Set-up / operate Haas or Okuma CNC mills/lathes.
- Review and understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and set up requirements.
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and tooling pre-setter.
- Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
- Checks for machine readiness to ensure functionality and performance.
- Perform and document Operator Preventative Maintenance operations as needed.
