NCW is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor for a full-time 2nd shift position in Elkhart, IN. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing production operations of your team and assuring the consistent achievement of the production schedule to ensure the on-time delivery of quality product to customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a production leader within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience driving continuous improvement and lean projects.
- Proven ability to lead from the front lines and develop a strong culture within a team.
- Strong understanding of safety programs and adherence.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and safeguard plant assets in assigned area.
- Oversee operations and staff to meet production goals and cost targets.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate direct reports; provide training and corrective actions as needed.
- Develop production schedules, coordinate with other departments, and forecast inventory needs.
- Monitor production efficiency, cut yields, and scrap, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Manage inventory, ensure proper rotation, and participate in counts.
- Ensure machinery is maintained, plants are clean, and inventory is organized.
- Prepare required reports and logs.
