- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a production leader within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience driving continuous improvement and lean projects.
- Proven ability to lead from the front lines and develop a strong culture within a team.
- Strong understanding of safety programs and adherence.
- Manage and safeguard plant assets in assigned area.
- Oversee operations and staff to meet production goals and cost targets.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate direct reports; provide training and corrective actions as needed.
- Develop production schedules, coordinate with other departments, and forecast inventory needs.
- Monitor production efficiency, cut yields, and scrap, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Manage inventory, ensure proper rotation, and participate in counts.
- Ensure machinery is maintained, plants are clean, and inventory is organized.
- Prepare required reports and logs.
