Position Overview:
They are seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Estimator to join their team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, developing budgets for schematic and design development phases, and contributing to project planning. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, industry experience, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cost estimates for new construction and renovation projects.
- Prepare schematic and design development budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details.
- Utilize industry tools and software, including Procore, for estimating and documentation.
- Present estimates and budget analyses to clients and stakeholders.
- Assess project risks, ensuring cost-effectiveness and feasibility.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator.
- Strong understanding of new building construction and renovations.
- Proficiency in preparing schematic and design development budgets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Business.
- Experience using Procore or similar project management software.
- Strong presentation skills for client and team meetings.
