We are searching for a Production Manager for a well-established company that manufactures, integrates, and installs material moving machinery and equipment. As the Production Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities and performance of Supervisors to ensure that quality products are manufactured on time, safely, and within budget. Work schedule is Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of management experience in the material handling industry.  
  • Technical orientation with the ability to learn new technologies.  
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.  
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.  
  • Excellent management skills for directing, coaching, scheduling, and assisting team members.  

What you’ll do
  • Manage the department, ensuring efficient and timely production and proper staffing of all department-related requirements to complete projects on schedule and within budget.  
  • Manage the Supervisor(s), ensuring their teams are well managed.  
  • Communicates with the Manufacturing Director regarding schedules and backlogs.
  • Works with Project Managers and Engineers as appropriate.  
  • Determines outsourcing needs to maintain project schedules.
  • Reviews labor charges, purchase requisitions, and department schedules.
