As an Electrical Engineer, you will participate with the engineering department to facilitate the production releases and assist with product installation and reverse documentation, work across several departments and with vendors to help prevent the NCMR (Non-Conforming Material Record) from repeating and will work directly with the assembly team and engineering to increase and improve the information provided within the build book. This is a direct hire position on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6am-2:30pm.  

Requirements  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical system design and development, preferably in the mobile drilling or heavy machinery industry.
  • Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools. Skilled in electrical principles, circuit design, and power distribution.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming and control systems. Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design.
  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as they relate to electrical controls.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and release to production, the electrical schematic, and Bill or Materials.
  • Work with the production team to ensure documentation is correct and the released product meets necessary production schedule timelines.  
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.  
  • Work with the production team in a hands-on capacity to meet production schedule timelines.  
  • Be prepared to take part in the upfront quote/design process with the sales department to ensure product specifications meet customer requirements.  
  • Document and implement ground floor corrective actions to prevent the need for information exchange beyond the build book.
