Sales Engineer
 
Location:  Naperville, IL   400 E Diehl Rd, Suite 500, Naperville, IL 60563
Pay:  Starting at $75,000
Schedule:  M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm

Requirements 
  •       Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
    • At least 2 years of B2B sales in industrial/automotive products or related environment, selling to Fortune 500 Industrial customers and their Tier 1 suppliers
  •       Full working knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process
    • Technical knowledge of manufacturing or application of engineered parts and components (Casting & Machining knowledge helpful)
  •       Self-motivated, organized and analytical, problemsolving skills
  •       At least 25% Travel will be required for carrying out the job duties
  •       Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
 
Key Job Accountabilities
  • Work closely with the team to develop/execute sales plans and identify business opportunities
  •        Manage and maintain relations with existing industrial and automotive accounts
    • Process inquiries/requests for quotation from new and existing accounts and negotiate pricing and commercial terms
    • Be responsible for new project launch collaboration and act as a liaison between customers and Company's multiple-function teams globally
    • Develop and maintain communications cooperatively and professionally with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing prospective customers
    • Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
  •       Secure and renew orders
  •       Help customers solve technical problems
  •       Perform other tasks as assigned
