INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Austin Dunwoody named Orr Fellow with NCW
West Lafayette, IN native, Austin Dunwoody, to begin a selective, two-year post-graduate program in Indianapolis with NCW. Dunwoody is of the eight percent of top-tier college seniors selected to join Orr Fellowship.
Orr Fellowship, one of Indiana’s most celebrated nonprofit talent programs, is a two-year post-graduate program that places high-achieving college seniors from across the Midwest in full-time, paid positions at dynamic companies and organizations in Indianapolis.
Of the nearly 1,200 applicants, just 126 were invited to Orr Fellowship’s Finalist Day held in November. Of those 126, 100 individuals received job offer calls. West Lafayette, IN native, Austin will begin at NCW (one of 53 Orr Fellowship partner companies in Indianapolis) upon graduating in May.
After graduating with a degree in Business Management from Purdue University, Dunwoody will begin as a Recruiter at NCW. NCW is a professional recruiting firm and temporary employment agency that places professionals in short-term and full-time roles in eight core industries including Accounting, Finance, Tax & Audit, Construction, Engineering, Insurance & Financial Services, Manufacturing, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Sales & Business Development, Supply Chain & Distribution. During their time at Purdue, Dunwoody was involved in Purdue Cooperative Council, Circle Pines Cooperative, and Philanthropy initiatives.
In addition to working at NCW, Dunwoody will participate in Orr Fellowship’s programming dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit and developing strong leadership skills.
Dozens of Fellows have gone on to found their own businesses and most former Fellows have become leaders at successful companies.
