We know you want to work with people, not bots, so in just a few snapshots, this is us. We like to consider ourselves a rag-tag team that produces some bad-ass results while having a whole lot of fun. Don’t just take our word for it, check out NCW’s top 9 moments from the last year.
1. NCW team posing for a group picture during the company-wide holiday party
The NCW team knows how to celebrate. We capped off a week of training, goal setting, and team bonding at Ignite 2021, our company-wide end-of-the-year conference, with a holiday party at Pins Mechanical in downtown Indy. The NCW family loves an excuse to have bonding moments outside the office and supporting a local business while doing it does not hurt! Thank you, Pins Mechanical, for the endless supply of drinks, games, and fun.
2. NCW celebrates being named an Inc. 5000 company with cookies!
The annual Inc. 5000 lists ranks the fastest growing private companies in America and NCW was lucky enough to be one of them. This list provides a unique look at the most successful small businesses, one of the American economy’s most dynamic segments. Given all the unprecedented challenges of 2020, we are especially proud to receive this recognition and continue to be able to work with the best companies and brightest talent.
3. “Before I Die” board, on the wall at NCW HQ
NCW employees are not only given the encouragement and resources to set and work toward goals when it comes to their work, but also personal aspirations. If you make a lap through NCW HQ, the “Before I Die” board is hard to miss. From “go see a World Cup Final live” to “retire in Havana,” NCW employees have a wide range of bucket-list items.
4. Celebrating our Top Workplace ranking with cake!
Like I said, we always find a reason to celebrate…and eat. NCW prides itself on fostering a welcoming and motivating work environment in which employees feel valued, fulfilled, and rewarded. It’s this commitment to culture that earned us a Top Workplace 2021 ranking. Every year, the Indianapolis Star recognizes 90 companies and organizations in Central Indiana as Top Workplaces based on employee survey feedback and we were honored to win this award.
5. Company-wide volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul
We are no stranger to going beyond our walls – so much so that it is a core value of our organization. Our relationship with St. Vincent de Paul – Indianapolis, a community organization, is one we hold near and dear. NCW sends one intern team per month to volunteer at SVdP, and with the whole company in town for Ignite, we were able to volunteer all together at their food pantry and distribution center.
6. NCW goes “fowling”
The company-wide holiday party at Pins was not the NCW team’s first rodeo. The team went fowling – a hybrid between football and bowling – and left with sore arms, full hearts & crushed pride. NCW employees are fiercely competitive when it comes to finding the best and brightest talent for our clients, so it was no surprise that we were comfortable going head-to-head at fowling.
7. NCW leadership team
We would not be where we are today without this group of intentional leaders. You may say they are NCW’s top 7. This leadership team is committed to developing themselves and their respective teams. They are deliberate in taking time to pour into others at NCW. They are pillars of our organization and the relationships we form with clients and candidates.
8. HQ’s iconic beer garden whiteboard of rotating motivational quotes
At NCW, there seems to be an endless supply of motivational quotes and moments. As employees enter our Indianapolis office, they are met with a new message every day. These quotes are most often chosen and updated by Vice President Dan Mattingly and Executive Vice President, Adam Helton, who seem to have an endless supply of energy and advice for the NCW family.
9. Recruiter, James, with one of his placed employees at a Fortune 500 Company
“More than a voice behind a call” is one of our core values for a reason. Our recruiters, like James, know the value of face-to-face interactions and relationship development beyond a phone call or email. They go the extra mile to understand candidate and client needs and stand by their sides, both figuratively and literally when given the opportunity.
